STPI - Guwahati
Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), an autonomous society under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India has been set up with distinct focus to boost up Software export from the country.
STPI-Guwahati is one of the 11 STPI jurisdictions having its main centre in Guwahati, Assam. STPI–Guwahati centre was established in 2000 to fulfil the objective of organisation like implementing STP/EHTP Schemes, setting up & managing infrastructure facilities, and providing other services like technology assessment and project management consultancy in North East Region. Presently STPI-Guwahati has 6 sub-centres in Agartala, Aizawl, Gangtok, Imphal, Kohima and Shillong. In FY 2022-23, STPI-registered units under STPI-Guwahati jurisdiction contributed Rs. 120.77 crore software exports.
