STPI - Pune
Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), an autonomous society under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India has been set up with distinct focus to boost up Software export from the country.
STPI-Pune has been instrumental in promoting IT exports from Maharashtra since its inception in 1990. Apart from Pune, STPI centres are operational at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Kolhapur, Nagpur, Nasik, and Mumbai in Maharashtra & Panaji in Goa. Over the years, STPI-Pune has played a very important role to promote the region as a preferred IT destination and act as single window agency for IT/ITeS industry by putting new milestones in IT exports of the state. In FY 2023-24, STPI-registered units under STPI-Pune jurisdiction contributed Rs. 1,84,106.97 IT/ITeS/ESDM exports.
